    The Mall, Preston - Retailer Awards 2009

    Pete Pinnington compered The Mall Shopping Centre, Preston - Retailer Awards 2009 at Preston North End Football Club! The night was a huge success with staff from all the centre's 91 retailers attending & hoping to collect some of the coveted awards.

    Some of the winning retailers included:-

    Raffles Coffee Shop 'Best Independent Retailer Award'

    New Look 'Prestigious Shoppers Award'

    Marks & Spencer 'Best Store' for the 2nd year running!

    Following the awards, Pete Pinnington also provided the evenings disco entertainment!

    Warrington Music Festival 2009

    Pete Pinnington hosted the Warrington Music Festival at Queens Gardens, Warrington organised by the Warrington Music Collective and The Pyramid & Parr Hall. A brilliant day was had by all, as thousands were entertained by over 30 LIVE LOCAL bands on two seperate stages from 11.30am - 7.30pm. The Plugged stage (under 18's) featured bands included The Collision, Too Much Of Nothing, Attic Noise, Exit Brady and many more! The Main stage (over 18's) featured bands included Petrabox, The Stocks,, Red Mojo, The Cordels, China White and many more!

    Pete Pinnington's role was to jump between stages bringing on & off the acts and informing the crowd of what else was going on through the day.

    Halton's Got Talent Final 2009 - Runcorn

    Pete Pinnington was guest judge at the Halton's Got Talent Final in Runcorn's Brindley Centre, organised by Halton Borough Council. The night saw 23 young finalists perform in front of an audince of 500. There were singers, dancers, a pianist & gymnasts!

    The top 3 winners were:-

    3 - Debbie Morris - Singing Alexandra Burke's - Hallelujah

    2 - Zekell Pearson - Dancing to Michael Jackson songs

    1 - Jessica Healey - Singing Phantom Of The Opera's = Wishing You Were Somhow Here Again

    Uniform Services Day - Warrington Town Centre

    Pete Pinnington was hosting Uniform Services Day organised by Warrington Borough Council. On the day, Cheshire Police, Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service & the Army came along to show the public some of the vehicles & equipment used and to also provide information on the range of services provided.

    Pete Pinnington's role on the day was to interact & inform the public as to what was happening and why. Plus to get the public to freely have a look at the vehicles & equipment on show. During this time Pete also interviewed members of all the services present to help get their messages across. Such as:- Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service offering FREE home safety checks, Cheshire Police were looking to recruit more 'Special Constables' and the army were keen to recruit also. The 'Help For Heroes' charity was also present on the day and Pete helped get their messages across to the public.

    As expected Pete Pinnington was professional and entertaining throughout to ensure the day wasn't seen as a serious one!

    Shannon Bradshaw Trust Charity Evening

    Pete hosted the Shannon Bradshaw Trust (of which he's a Patron) Charity evening at Mottram Hall in Prestbury. Fellow Patrons Kerry Katona, actor Wes Brown, Boxer 'Big' Joe Egan and Corry's Steven Arnold also attended. Pete also hosted the auction on the night which included some great items such as signed Christina Aguilera, Enrique Iglesias & Ricky 'Hitman' Hatton framed photos. All that attended had a brilliant night for a great cause. Entertainment included an Elvis Impersonator & The Golden Eagles!

    Miss. Warrington Town Grand Final

    Pete Pinnington hosted the ‘Miss Warrington Town’ Grand Final 2009 at Warrington Town Football Club, sponsored by Warrington Market (Winner of ‘Best Indoor Market in the UK’).

    Twenty stunning finalists strutted their stuff & worked the catwalk well in the hope of being crowned the winner. The girls showed off their fashion & evening wear on the night. Before revealing the winner, there were awards for ‘Best Smile’, ‘Best Hair’, ‘Miss Congeniality’ and ‘Best Interview’. Eventually the judges made their decision and it was ‘Charlene Evans’ who was crowned ‘Miss Warrington Town 2009’! Well done to all involved!

    Wire FM's 'Kids of Courage' Awards

    Pete Pinnington hosted Wire FM’s ‘Kids Of Courage’ Awards at the Odeon Cinema, Warrington! Leading up to the event Pete Pinnington also scripted the afternoon’s awards. Fifteen local children from the area were recognised for their achievements.

    Awards included:- ‘Young Carer’, ‘Whizz Kid’, ‘Community Champion’, ‘True Inspiration’, ‘Best Son’ and ‘Young Entrepreneur’ which went to local celebrity and ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ winner 2008 – George Sampson who attended and was proud to receive his 1st award from his hometown! George also helped make the other kids afternoon by posing for photo’s & signing autographs!

    Halton Lea's Eco-Chic Fasion Show

    Pete Pinnington hosted three Fashion Shows a day over the two days! The fashion shows showcased the new Spring / Summer collection from stores within the centre including:- Dorothy Perkins, Peacocks, New Look, JD Sports & Tesco!

    As can happen with these shows, there were times the models weren't ready for the next scene, leaving Pete to fill time. Pete Pinnington did so with professionalism and entertained the shoppers so well that they thought it was all part of the show. A great team effort was made by everyone involved. The shows were so well received by shoppers that the centre is keen to plan more in the future.
